The Fake Famous Comedy Tour featuring comedian Barry S. Naylor II comes to Orlando, FL on Friday, August 23rd the day before the UF vs UM neutral site game at Camping World Stadium.
Fake Famous Comedy was the first comedy show of melanated magnitude to grace Florida's historic Hippodrome State Theatre located in Downtown Gainesville, FL selling out the first show in less than a week forcing the team to produce a second show which sold out in 24hrs! #BLACKHISTORY. The turn out during #UFBAR2018 (Black Alumni Reunion for University of Florida), inspired a 7-stop tour ending with Columbia, SC near Barry's hometown in December. (For a complete schedule of the tour follow @fakefamouscomedy on Instagram)
On tour stop number one, the comedians rocked the house in Jacksonville Florida (DUUUUUUVALLLL) at the Rhythm Factory a black-owned non-profit venue space that is committed to supporting the arts being taught in school. Proceeds from the Jacksonville show supported a local high school marching band getting new instruments, presented by Gainesville Black Wall Street and the Jacksonville Urban League Young Professionals.
The marathon continues as we head to Orlando, FL! After the show, meet the comedians, take pictures, and purchase signed products in the "FLASH MARKET" featuring vendors and sponsors. Then get your dance on at the official after party hosted by the (partnership still in negotiations) with music provided by (DJ TBD).
