ORLANDO, FLORIDA [January 23, 2020] – Roger Waters, the creative genius behind Pink Floyd, returns to North America in 2020 with his This Is Not A Drill Tour, an all-new rock experience featured in-the-round for the first time. Promoted by AEG Presents’ Concerts West, the tour plays 31 cities across the U.S. and Canada and marks Waters’ first visit to the U.S. following his extraordinary performances at the 2016 Desert Trip Music Festival and his worldwide Us + Them Tour in 2018. Waters returns to Orlando’s Amway Center Thursday, August 13. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m.
“It’ll be a new show. It will be no-holds-barred. My work is to think, well, how can I make rock and roll more interesting or theatrical or exciting or visual or musical or whatever,” said Waters. “That’s what I’ve spent the last 50 years doing, expressing myself.”
Waters has once again created a challenging and thought-provoking production and audio visual experience that embodies his continued message of love. Billboard described the show as, “. . . the most striking cinematic theatrics ever employed on a rock stage. There should be Oscars for this kind of work.”
