More Info

Luis Miguel: With elaborate, high-grossing tour dates and sixteen #1 singles, Luis Miguel is arguably the premier male vocalist in all of Mexico. While other Latin artists struggle to find acceptance in both their own country and the US, Miguel's music has transcended national and geographic boundaries. The Mexican superstar is has only a few remaining tour dates in 2011, but each one is guaranteed to be a treat.

Luis Miguel released his debut album, Un Sol, in 1981 at the age of 11. In 1985, he won a Grammy Award for his duet single with Sheena Easton, "Me Gustas Tal Como Eres" ("I Like You Just As You Are"). Luis Miguel transitioned from child singer to adult star with his 1988 album, Busca Una Mujer, which featured the hit single, "La Incondicional." Miguel's collections of Spanish love ballads, Romance, Segundo Romance, and Romances, became international hits, both going platinum in the US. By this time in his career, Miguel was selling out stadium tour dates around the world, and became one of the most popular Latin artists on tour.

Miguel continued to release platinum albums, leading up to the 2010 release of his self-titled album which has since gone platinum four times in Mexico. Luis Miguel is celebrating the continuance of his hit-making career with just a few tour dates in 2011. After two shows in Southern California in early September, Miguel has a highly anticipated four-night engagement at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace in Las Vegas beginning on September 15.
